Reports to: Director of Compliance Job Summary: The Home Care HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring through regularized auditing that True Care is adhering to all relevant governing bodies to its business by the New York State. The Compliance Auditor is communicating with all Branch Offices to ensure ongoing compliance and DOH guidelines. Responsibilities include: Documentation: + Prepares for internal audits by researching materials being requested and formulating a plan of action Communication: + Communicates audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in meetings. + Recommend improvements in internal compliance structure and accomplishing compliance work requirements with successful auditing + Enhances compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests + Communicates weekly pre-conflicts to all Branch Team Leads in order to reduce the number of conflicts that are then produced + Follow up with all conflicts to conflicting agencies and documents accordingly. Share results with the Compliance Team weekly Reporting and Tracking: + Ensure that all documentation is uploaded accurately in all personnel records. + Ensures compliance with regulations and controls with the NYS Dept. of Health by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation + Maintain knowledge of all required New York State DOH regulations for HHAs + Track all conflicts and share information with the Payroll Manager and Director of Compliance. Job requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent + Fluency in Spanish required + Experience using HHA Exchange + Strong Verbal & Written Communication- Clear and Concise + 1-2 years of compliance auditing experience preferred + 1-2 years of analyzing conflicts and pre-conflict reporting + Excellent computer skills are necessary, demonstrated ability to use Word- processing or database programs + The ability to multi-task and shift priorities when necessary and while meeting deadlines + High-stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment + Some knowledge of health/home care policy environments or policy-related roles + Ability to manage time efficiently True Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.
