We are looking for an experienced **Spanish-speaking** coordinator for Home Care Agency. Amelia Home Care services five boroughs and Westchester County.

The coordinator must have experience working in a Home Care Agency.

The coordinator must have full knowledge of HHA exchange

Full Job Description

**Duties for this position include**:

- Schedule field staff to provide service for patients.
- Interact with families, patients, and caregivers about services (either in person or over the phone).
- Provide patients and caregivers with accurate schedules.
- Follow-up with patients and caregivers regarding coverage, call-offs, and cancellation of staff.
- Maintain open and current communication with the management team regarding changes in the status of patients and caregivers.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication of activities.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to provide information on staffing requirements and needs.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding job responsibilities and compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

**Job Requirements**
- _**MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HOME CARE STAFFING EXPERIENCE**_
- Knowledge of the HHA Exchange system
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to problem-solve challenging and complex situations that involve family members, patients, care providers, and referral sources.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize own workload and quickly adjust priorities as required.
- Excellent customer service skills, including working effectively with various personality types.
- _**Ability to fully communicate in English and Spanish fluently**_
