Brooklyn, United States Brompton Full time

Job title: Operations Specialist - Ecommerce & Retail

Department: Operations

Salary: $65k/year-$75K/year depending on experience plus benefits, performance related bonus

Location: NYC

Reporting into: Operations Manager

The Role

The Ecommerce and Retail Operation Specialist will work cross-functionally with other teams to develop and execute key merchandising initiatives, strategies, and business priorities. This role will be part of a small team that looks after our ecommerce/retail fulfilment business in North America. You will have key responsibility for the coordination of operational processes on a day-to-day basis, liaising with the warehouse and logistics teams in the UK, our logistics partner in the US, and Brompton US staff to ensure effective service to our consumers and vendor accounts throughout the Americas. As such you will be an effective communicator, with excellent IT and data analysis skills. You will not be fazed by Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and prior experience in an omnichannel logistics role would be a big benefit. At Brompton's New York Office you are the lynchpin, pooling orders, monitoring inventory at our warehouse, communicating with other staff and customers and getting the right information to the right people at the right time.

The role is dynamic and rewarding; beyond the key responsibilities outlined below, it's important to remember that this is a small outfit with an exceptional product at its heart. At Brompton, there will be plenty of intriguing opportunities for growth and development, and we encourage it. When there aren't orders to chase, emails to answer and spreadsheets to update there are always exciting ways to help develop Brompton in the Americas, developing and improving internal processes, or helping the other members of the team with their projects. You will be involved to some extent with many areas of the New York-based business, and whilst others will be experts in selling or marketing our products, you will become experts in our business processes. If this sounds like you, please apply now with your resume and a covering letter introducing yourself.
