OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic People Operations Specialist to support our vibrant organization. This role will assist the VP of People Operations in overseeing daily HR functions, encompassing various areas such as communication and operational support. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in human resources within a home care setting, demonstrating a solid history of achievements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide essential support to the organization's HR initiatives and business collaborations, focusing on human resources (HR), benefits management, HR information systems (HRIS), onboarding processes, compliance, workplace culture, and employee engagement.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Administer HR programs by delivering comprehensive HR services, including benefits management, recruitment processes, training and development, record-keeping, safety and health protocols, employee relations, compliance, and managing personnel transactions.
  • Conduct special projects and research as required.
  • Safeguard the organization's and clients' confidentiality by maintaining privacy in all information handling.
  • Guide and mentor the existing HR team in alignment with the vision set by the VP of People Operations.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree or an associate degree in human resources or business administration is necessary.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of three years of HR experience in the home care sector.
  • Proficient in data entry tasks.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach and ability to lead by example.
  • Experience with HR information systems is essential; familiarity with platforms such as Bamboo HR, Kantime, HHA Exchange, Quick Base, and Excel Force is preferred.
  • Moderate IT skills are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism with the capability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
