POSITION: Facilities Operations Specialist

LOCATION: Not Specified

HOURS: Full Time, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

COMPENSATION: $60-70K Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE

ATG Entertainment is in search of a meticulous and collaborative individual with robust maintenance and interpersonal skills to enhance our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be proactive, able to work autonomously, and excel in high-pressure situations. Flexibility in work hours is essential due to the dynamic nature of the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily maintenance activities, including checks on HVAC systems, fire safety panels, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting to guarantee the efficient operation of building systems.
  • Carry out minor repairs as necessary to maintain the aesthetics and functionality of the facilities.
  • Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from both front-of-house and back-of-house personnel, addressing issues during events.
  • Perform pre-event inspections of facilities to detect potential hazards or maintenance requirements.
  • Oversee the housekeeping team during pre-event, event, and post-event periods.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with the Facilities Department and venue management teams.
  • Prepare nightly reports and submit them to the Facilities Manager.
  • Participate in additional short and long-term preventative maintenance, repairs, and capital projects as directed by the Facilities Manager in collaboration with venue management teams.

COLLABORATION AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Work within a team of 13-15 individuals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
  • Experience live performances from diverse musical genres.
  • Engage in private event management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications or training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management, trades, or related fields.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong problem-solving aptitude.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

  • Certificates of Fitness S12 & S13 (Sprinkler & Standpipe) and S95 (Supervisory of Fire Alarm Systems) are required. If not currently certified, must obtain upon hiring.
  • Experience with historic or landmarked buildings is advantageous.
