Write clean & scalable code in .NET programming languages (C#). Develop & implement software according to the business requirements to solve the organizations business problems. Write unit tests using testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit to ensure code quality & accuracy & to prevent code regression. Deploy code to development, staging, & production environments using the latest DevOps software like Microsoft Azure DevOps platform for automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines (CI/CD). Develop & maintain enterprise-level full-stack web-based, Web API-based, or console-based software applications to support business processes using Microsofts .NET frameworks & programming languages mostly including C#. Use the object-oriented programming style & SOLID principles to create enterprise web applications that are used by internal/external stakeholders situated globally. Develop web apps using modern web technologies like HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript libraries (React.js), & RESTful services using ASP.NET Core frameworks via the .NET Web API interface. The data access layers will be built using Entity Framework (EF) Core. Utilize various cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure during application development, using tools such as Azure Blobs & Containers for storage, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity services like Single Sign-On & Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Azure KeyVault, & Azure Functions. Set up or assist in setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automating code deployments using Microsoft Azure DevOps. Collaborate with other business application teams to understand system functionality & capabilities to deliver software solutions. Actively participate in daily &/or weekly scrum meetings typically led by project managers to determine project progress, discuss plans, & roadmap project strategy. Work collaboratively with a team that consists of UX/UI designers, front-end React.js developers, & other back-end developers, with assistance from the Project Management team, Quality Assurance team, & Business Analyst team. Collaborate with DBAs (Database Admin) team for query tuning, querying data, & schema refinement using SQL server database management system. Work on delegated software development tasks to completion, including integrated testing. Make or assist in making architectural software design decisions with scalability, organization, & performance optimization in mind. Plan out & create SQL database schemas & stored procedures to build applications after reviewing user specifications for project(s). Plan out & determine how to organize the development of projects using modern .NET frameworks after reviewing user specifications for project(s), including modules needed, organization of code structure, & sequence of software development. Assist & review other developers code to ensure software quality assurance, scalability, & correctness. Establish industry best practices for business application development across the organization. Research & evaluate new functionalities from recent .NET framework releases & implement them for performance & security optimization. Code migrations of applications from older .NET frameworks to the latest frameworks to leverage upgraded features. Actively participate & undergo training geared towards software development & modern web technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc. for future implementation & maintenance support.

Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD PLUS 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

Special Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Experience with programming in .NET frameworks such as Web Forms, .NET MVC, and .NET Web API to build enterprise-efficient software web applications. 2. Experience with ADO.NET and Entity Framework for data access and manipulation through back-end code, enabling data-driven enterprise web applications. 3. Knowledge in SQL database design, writing SQL queries, and using advanced SQL functions to create database schemas, ensure data integrity, optimize query performance for a smooth user experience. 4.Experience with front-end programming in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks like React.js to create interactive web applications with dynamic content. 5. Knowledge in utilizing cloud related services like Microsoft Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps for efficient data storage, deployment, and security for applications. 6. Experience with implementing design patterns, such as Dependency Injection, Singleton, Repository pattern to create robust, scalable, and maintainable code. 7. Experience working in Agile software development methodology for ensuring rapid and iterative delivery of software. 8. Expertise in tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Azure Repo for code versioning, code management and streamlined collaboration ensuring software stability.

The base compensation range for this role is $121,222 to $135,000/year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
