This position performs various regulatory compliance duties and utilizes basic subject matter knowledge to complete tasks which may include auditing, quality control, information tracking, and reporting. This role will focus specifically on reviewing indexed annuities for suitability, as well as participating in the Special Investigative Unit referral process. Contribute to protecting the company from risk and fraud, while protecting current and prospective customers by ensuring they get products which appropriately meet their needs.

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.
What you do
- Assist with regulatory requirement review and suitability analysis.
- Assist with fraud review and related regulatory reporting.
- Communicate with both internal partners and external clients or regulatory bodies via written and verbal communication methods.
- Assist with the ongoing review and development of new workflows.
- Evaluate processes and procedures to assure quality, efficient service, and best practices are utilized.
- Conduct regulatory research and analysis utilizing multiple systems.
- Review and respond to internal and external correspondence, grievances, or inquiries.
- Make recommendations to mitigate regulatory risk.
- Gather information from internal stakeholders and submit reports to external parties.
- Review, advise, and provide guidance to business partners regarding index annuity suitability.
- Communicate with internal and external business partners to promote their understanding and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
What you bring
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1-2 years of relevant and related experience required.
- Insurance industry experience desired.
- Compliance experience desired.
- Knowledge of indexed annuity products desired.
