Title: Employee Relations Specialist - Human Resources

Location: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN

Position Shift: Full Time Monday-Friday Day shift

Position Summary:

Uses sound judgment in consultation with managers regarding appropriate employee accountability actions and in resolving employee grievances, handling employee complaints, and resolving disputes. Maintains accurate, thorough, and confidential investigatory records and reports of findings.

Credentials / Education:

PHR/SHRM-CP Strongly Preferred

Bachelor's in Human Resources/Business Administration/Related Field Required

Experience:

3 Years Progressive Experience Preferred in:

* Healthcare Human Resources

* Handling Employee Issues Including Conduct, Performance, Reasonable Accommodation, and Medical Issues

* Handling Third Party Proceedings and Grievances

* Ensuring All Courses of Action are Fully Compliant with Laws, Regulations, Policies, and Procedures

* General Knowledge and Understanding of Basic Investigative Techniques
