National Christian Foundation seeks to hire a Giver Services Coordinator for its NCF Chicago office.

We are seeking a proactive, relational, and talented individual with a strong commitment to excellence that will make our team stronger and join us in accomplishing this great task The ideal candidate will have a passion and calling for the work of NCF.

Position Overview

The Giver Services Coordinator primarily serves the NCF Chicago Team by assisting in creating a giver and prospect experience that strengthens current relationships and creates a supportive environment for new givers. Manages multiple tasks while assisting the team with a variety of giver support responsibilities. This position will be actively engaged in customer service, administrative support, event support, marketing and office management.

The successful candidate will possess the following strengths, characteristics, and requirements while performing the following responsibilities through personal implementation or by working through subordinate managers and other local staff.

This position is hybrid based out of the office in Arlington Heights, IL, with in-office work 2-3 times a week and as needed (high volume of communication via phone and office)

Duties and Responsibilities

Giver Support and Engagement (50%)

Serve new and existing givers on the phone by promptly answering calls and responding to emails, and to build relationships. Explore new and creative ways to serve, support, and engage with givers. Manage the day-to-day processing of numerous and diverse transactions, processing crucial forms and making giver profile updates. Problem-solve client impacting issues like rejected transactions, confusing financial statements, and special requests. Handle various reactive administrative duties associated with primary givers. Maintain CRM records on behalf of the Chicago Relationship managers through data entry and database updates. Provide concierge service to the high capacity givers and support for the Chicago Relationship Mangers in their high capacity giver engagement efforts.

Administrative and Marketing Support (30%)

Administrative support including scheduling, document management, creating presentations and updating files. Support the implementation of local marketing and communication initiatives utilizing e-mail, mail, and phone. Coordinate and support local outreach (external) events and various internal meetings/events.

Office Management (20%)

Oversee office reception and vendor management. Check and manage the daily mail. The mail should be checked on remote workdays as well. Maintain office supplies (brochures, concept sheets, kitchen items, restroom essentials, etc.) and replenish as needed, and manage utility bills for prompt payment.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Education Bachelors degree required.

Experience Minimum three years of previous administration or customer service experience required. Previous charitable giving, non-profit, or ministry experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of Salesforce (or CRM) preferred.

Knowledge Base Demonstrated skills in sales operations or customer sales/service. Working knowledge of charitable, non-profit, foundation, and/or donor related subject matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Expertise in Salesforce or other CRM cloud-based services.

Work Environment Hybrid with in-office work 2-3 times a week and as needed (high volume of communication via phone and office). 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required during the peak work periods and projects. Minimal travel required. Location: Arlington Heights, IL
