Responsibilities:

  • Fosters a team-centric focus to ensure delivery of an excellent team member experience. Partners with department leadership to ensure that the positive experience is carried through and beyond initial onboarding throughout the team member life cycle.
  • Prepares and processes payroll and associated information. Collates and verifies data and inputs into the payroll system. Updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records. Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle. Responds to pay-related inquiries from team members. Researches and resolves errors or omissions.
  • Verifies hours, ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated, confirms rate and employment status changes, and calculates final pay for terminations. Interprets pay policies and resolves payroll issues and concerns with internal stakeholders for accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Interacts with team members and provides assistance in the completion of human resource services in accordance with department service standards. Communicates to maintain consistency with HR policies and procedures.
  • Works with subject matter experts to respond to routine and non-routine questions to provide information to internal and external customers, including job candidates, new hires, retirees, former team members, etc. Ensures that inquiries are responded to consistently in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Responds to requests for reports/queries, including maintaining and supporting report functionality.
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding processes, troubleshoots with internal partners as needed, routes all new hire paperwork as appropriate.
  • Maintains and delivers a comprehensive new team member orientation program, including scheduling, logistics, and facilitating orientation classes, providing new team members with information about policies, procedures, and an exceptional team member experience.
  • Facilitates company's offboarding procedures.
  • Responsible for processing wage and employment verifications and completes miscellaneous research and audit reports as requested.
  • Provides administrative support for company benefit programs and processes, such as, life event enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries.
  • Maintains and oversees department records and file maintenance to ensure compliance with retention schedule.
  • Conducts periodic audits of employee data in the department's HRIS. Performs quality checks to ensure all demographic and profile data are accurate and complete.
  • Organizes company service award program and coordinates award presentations.
  • Coordinates employee gifts, bereavement and other types of arrangements per company guidelines.
  • Ensures that all training rooms/venues, equipment, catering arrangements and other requirements are met to accomplish human resources and learning & development related training.
  • Supports internal partners with assigning, monitoring and reporting of required compliance training particularly those with audit sensitive timelines.
  • Responsible for initiating, transferring and maintaining NMLS licenses in accordance with company policies and procedures, including the annual renewal process.
  • Demonstrates ethical conduct and maintains the integrity of HR practices and company programs.
  • Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company's purpose, mission and core values.

Qualifications
Education Associates of Human Resource Administration (required)
Experience 2 years: * 2+ years' experience in the HR field or any similar combination of education and experience. (required)
* Knowledge of standard recordkeeping practices with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience in HRIS and LMS applications preferred. (preferred)
* Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email. (required)
