Job SummaryAs a Payroll Assistant, you will work closely with the Payroll team to manage the daily activities of the Department and employee productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Printing and shipping of all payroll checks
- Ordering check stock and shipping supplies
- Organization of the copy room
- Receiving new hire documents and processing client information through E-Verify
- Assisting Payroll Technicians with data entry
- Opening and organizing mail as needed for the department
- Special project assistance as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to type 35 WPM
- Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
- PEO or Multi-site, Multi-state experience a plus
Six months of payroll experience preferred, but not required
