Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, problem-solving, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a full-time position M-F 8 am to 5 pm located in the Albuquerque, NM corporate office in the uptown area.
Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Associates or bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a Minimum of 3 years experience as Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Clerk, or similar position
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes
Familiarity with purchase order processes
Ability to work independently and with other departments
Strong ability to multitask and skill in prioritizing work to meet deadlines

Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
Performs invoice and general-ledger data entry
Ensures that all invoices are processed and payment rendered in a timely fashion and within terms
Coordinates and communicates with other departments and vendors to resolve any discrepancies such as: pricing, quantity, product, and freight discrepancies
Review and reconcile company credit card statements
Maintain accurate AP records and vendor files
Primary backup of inbound phone calls
Post and process inbound customer payments
Proactively work with vendors to resolve outstanding invoices and credits
Other accounting tasks as assigned
