Accounts Payable:
Reviewing, verifying, matching packing slips and processing invoices. Enter and code invoices and credit card charges into the accounting system. Reconcile monthly statements to ensure payments are up to date, research and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile monthly credit card statements. Maintain vendor records and manage vendor relationships. Process multiple check runs per month. Ensure 1099-category mapping is accurate and updated. Schedule and process ACH payments to vendors. Complete vendor agreements, credit applications, NTTC forms, and other vendor requirements.
Payroll:
Process and administer accurate and timely payroll for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee file information, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other payroll-related adjustments. Provide detailed files to third party processor, incl. employee deductions, taxes, benefits, retirement contributions, garnishments, and other withholdings. Generate and distribute payroll reports to management for review, providing detailed analysis and summaries as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee payroll data and adhere to privacy regulations. Respond to employee inquiries and provide exceptional service, resolving payroll-related issues or directing employees to the appropriate resources. Assist with the onboarding process of new employees.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting for responsible fields
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft with enhanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, including some administrative duties
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
