Overview:

A successful Virtual Training Specialist provides thought leadership and a best practice approach to The Tarian Group training programs supporting current and future projects. This includes developing, researching, implementing, instructing and evaluating content and training programs.

The Virtual Training Specialist will design, develop, and deliver virtual training programs to diverse audiences. This position will ensure participants achieve learning objectives through interactive and engaging content. This role requires collaboration with various departments to create and implement training materials that align with organizational goals.

Compensation: $60,000/annually (overnight, evening, and weekend availability)

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct live virtual training sessions using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.
  • Ensure all training sessions are interactive, engaging, and effective in meeting learning objectives.
  • Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and explanations to participants.

Content Development:

  • Design and develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, videos, and other multimedia resources.
  • Update training content regularly to ensure it remains current and relevant.
  • Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of different audiences.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Set up and manage virtual classrooms, including troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during sessions.
  • Utilize various online tools and software to enhance the training experience.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continuously improve training sessions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to participants to aid their learning process.

Collaboration:

  • Work with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and departments to align training programs with organizational goals.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss training needs and strategies.

Administration:

  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and feedback.
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes and areas for improvement.
  • Manage scheduling and registration for virtual training sessions.
Qualifications:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in education, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a training instructor or similar role, with a focus on virtual training.
  • Experience in designing and developing training materials.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using virtual training platforms and related software.
  • Ability to engage and motivate participants in a virtual environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
