Working with us, you will: Perform benefits and payroll administration to include enrollment of new benefits, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating information to employees and candidates. Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database. Provide customer service for employees on benefits, payroll, and company policies. Track and screen candidate credentials, coordinate interview scheduling. Lead the onboarding process of new employees including coordinate and/or conduct new hire orientation, E-Verify, state new hire reporting, new hire training, and entering new hire paperwork into HRIS database. Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all local personnel. Assist firmwide initiatives including the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Design, administer and maintain specific HR-related programs as needed. Provide employee relations counseling and serve as a coaching resource. Advise operational managers on HR, HR law and employee related issues. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. An ideal candidate has: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field, preferred. 3 - 6 years HR-related experience or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong ability to pay attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Sensitivity towards confidential information is a must. The ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently. Proficiency in HRIS system maintenance and file management in a professional setting; Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy is required. Working knowledge of UltiPro and talent management software applications. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels. SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000 to $69,000 annually, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We provide an opportunity to invest in your future through our401(k) program with employer matching and a continuing educationreimbursement.
