Collectively, Xilis aims to harness its MOS Platform to enable development of the most effective therapeutics and guide them to the right patients at the right time.The candidate will be a member of the Operations team and will play an important role in efficiently executing daily logistics, supply chain, and warehousing processes. This role will be central in managing communications with Xilis research staff and third-party vendors. In addition, Xilis is a fast-paced environment where the candidate will be physically active and highly productive while playing a critical role in providing upstream services to our scientists and engineers. This is a great opportunity to build skills, experience, and relationships in a business that will revolutionize cancer patient care.ResponsibilitiesOrdering materials, supplies, and reagents to replenish common stock items and fulfill requestions placed by science and engineering teams.Receiving shipments of goods, performing receiving inspections to ensure they meet Xilis requirements, and storing them in the proper warehouse or laboratory areas.Restocking laboratories to ensure supplies are kept at appropriate levels to support operations.Performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes or moving large objects.Communicate with vendors, Xilis staff, and accounting to track and manage backorders and order discrepancies.Managing laboratory gas levels and stocks.Keeping warehouse organized and managing expiration dates on stocked items.RequirementsAssociate's degreeAt least two years of continuous work experience in warehouse operations or shipping and receiving.At least one year of experience in inventory managementBe a collaborative team memberAble to work independently and complete assigned tasks with limited amount of supervisionAbility to lift 50lbs overheadAbility to stand for 8 hours of the dayExperience with NetSuite a plusXilis was created when its three founders - an engineer, a physician, and a biologist - decided to come together and commercialize their technology to transform cancer care.
