About our Organisation “Reinforcing Progress” DSI Underground (a SANDVIK owned company) is one of Australia’s largest, leading manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of specialist strata reinforcement and support products to the underground coal and metalliferous mining sectors. DSI Underground also provides galvanising and other related services to the mining, civil, marine, commercial, and industrial industries. Job tasks and responsibilities Based in Mackay and reporting to the National Sale Manager-Coal, the duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to: A drive to identify potential opportunities and establish new customer relationships

Have a strong knowledge of our core markets and application engineering of DSI products.

Experienced composing reports on elements that are affecting our business inclusive of corrective actions and activities relative to developing and growing our business

Lead our Sales Team ensuring outcomes align with core objectives and achievement of budgets and growth targets

Be motivated to exceed Sales and Profitability targets and management of working capital

Undertake sales and service negotiations with customer decision makers

Undertaking technical presentations highlighting the DSI product range

Support existing customers with technical through the provision of both Underground Audits and Pull Testing

Promote new products to existing and new customers that will support their business operations

Ensure service levels are maintained within agreed Service Levels

A willingness to undertake domestic travel and work underground as required.

About you To be considered for this opportunity you will possess all the following attributes: The ability to understand technical concepts and converse at appropriate levels

Demonstrated ability to foster and develop strong relationships

Strong business acumen

Ability to work autonomously

Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new business

Tertiary qualifications in related discipline and previous mining experience are highly desirable.
