Job Title: Territory Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at Emery Jensen Distribution, LLC. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for growing profitable sales with current and new customers in the New York region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase sales and market share in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to drive business growth
  • Manage and prioritize weekly customer sales routes and calls to meet sales goals and objectives
  • Utilize Salesforce to input leads, new business opportunities, and prospect and core store visits
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and identify potential customers to expand the customer base
  • Represent Emery Jensen Distribution professionally and ethically in all interactions with customers and stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with the Emery Jensen Leadership Team and internal Sales Support Team to resolve customer issues and questions

Requirements:

  • 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the hardware and pro lumber industry
  • Excellent listening and negotiating skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on developing a sales growth plan and ensuring implementation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities, with a focus on results-driven sales performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
