Job Description

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Claims Adjuster to become a part of our organization You will investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of the damage in various property/liability claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Correspond and interview with insureds, agents, witnesses, or claimants to compile information
  • Take accurate and detailed statements, if needed, from all involved parties
  • Prepare estimates of damage, calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit
  • Negotiate and settle property losses
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, when necessary, related to claims

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in insurance, construction, investigations or other related fields beneficial
  • Must be located in NC with a location preference in central NC
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
  • Drug screening will be conducted
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self motivator a must, deadline and detail-oriented
  • Territory would consist of the entire state, travel required, IRS mileage reimbursement
