Function:

Responsible for leading the finance functions of the organization and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Will lead the controlling and accounting team, run the month-end close and annual budget process, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making for the site and the group
Job Duties:
  • Lead all aspects of the following areas within a P&L accountable business: Productivity Analysis, Costing, Inventory, CAPEX & Investment, Controlling and Cash Management
  • Drive improvements and accountability for Gross Margin analysis.
  • Facilitate the monthly review of cost/spend with the leadership team.
  • Lead the Monthly Business Review (MBR).
  • Own the Annual Operating Plan & Strategic multi-year plan through strategic financial analysis in collaboration with site leadership team.
  • Perform financial evaluation and handle all capital expenditure to ensure profitable business decisions.
  • Identify and make recommendations that optimize business processes and reporting to improve financial performance.
  • Lead, develop and inspire the team to meet business and financial objectives.
  • Participate on global teams to drive standardization.
  • Support the digitalization and automation of processes.
  • Identify and apply for subsidy/grant programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead all aspects of the preparation of accurate and timely financial documents (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies as well as accounting principles.
  • Month-end Close and annual budgeting: Lead the month-end closing process including the monthly business review. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end deliverables and budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis of our operations, including cost analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making and planning.
  • Internal Controls: Build and maintain effective internal cost calculation to ensure the accuracy of data and price calculation. Identify control gaps and implement improvements to mitigate risks.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Develop a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit process and address any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights and support critical initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external key partners.
Current Skills/Competencies:
  • Significant experience within Operations Finance, FP&A, or Controlling
  • Ability to handle large sets of data, creating accurate reports with responsibility for the quality and integrity of results.
  • Highly analytical with strong business sense
  • Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through process improvement.
  • Financial competence, including deep familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation.
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel are required; experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills to collaborate with various partners and global teams.
  • Strong team building skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people even if geographically dispersed.
  • Self-motivated, high level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal of getting the job done.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Skills Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A relevant certification (i.e. CPA) is preferred. 10+ years of proven experience as a finance manager or similar leadership role. 5+ years of direct management experience leading or directing teams.
