Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the day-to-day customer relationship of accounts, meeting regularly with customers to gather information on their businesses, needs, strategic direction, and earnings to determine business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Call on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business, cross-marketing CoBank's products and services to meet goals for assigned accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Contribute to the development and analysis of financial data for new or renewed financing arrangements, recommending decisions on loan terms and loan servicing actions within approved limits on assigned accounts.
  • Risk Management: Manage to profitability and credit quality targets for portfolio, prudently servicing accounts to protect CoBank and minimize losses.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain expertise in a designated market/industry segment, keeping abreast of industry trends, technology, regulatory requirements, and the competitive environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, financial services industry, or agriculture.
