****About the Role:****

We are seeking a proven Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will not only be responsible for owning the sales process from start to finish, you will also nurture new firm relationships to drive net new assets to B4A.

You are a tech-savvy strategic seller who is passionate about working with decision-makers to implement best in class technology to improve the way that they invest and manage client assets. This position will be based in NYC, reporting to our Sales Manager and will focus on generating new business from the wealth management segment, representing Betterments advisor sold solution.

This role is not remote eligible. We are looking to hire this role in our NYC office location.

****A Day in the Life:****

* Own full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to close of business, exceeding new client acquisition targets

* Foster relationships with new clients driving adoption of the B4A platform and onboarding net new assets to Betterment

* Own outbound sales efforts via email and phone to develop and convert sales qualified leads

* Ensure effective and consistent pipeline tracking through Salesforce, Hubspot, and other sales reporting tools

* Collaborate with product and marketing to incorporate the voice of the client into product development and relevant industry content

****What Were Looking For:****

* 5-6 years of sales experience in a quota carrying role

* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding company revenue targets

* Experience in financial services and/or wealth management industries

* Self starter who excels in a start-up environment; ability to wear multiple hats

* Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations

* Curiosity and interest in fintech especially in B2B space

* Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to apply those skills to improve selling outcomes

* Proficiency in Salesforce, GSuite, Microsoft Office

On average, it takes us around 2-3 weeks to make a hiring decision, depending on your availability and sense of urgency. As a best practice, we aim to interview at least 3 final round candidates before making a hiring decision.
