JOB SUMMARY Creative Planning (formerly BerganKDV) is a top tier wealth management firm that provides investment management services and full comprehensive financial planning in-house. Creative addresses all aspects of financial planning from estate planning, tax strategy and risk management to retirement, education , charitable planning, and business advisory – using all in-house specialists. The Credit and Accounts Receivable Analyst will work with our clients to review and determine their customers with delinquent accounts. This person will then coordinate all applicable information between our clients and a third-party collections company to ensure the delinquent account holders are contacted and balances are paid. The Credit and AR Analyst will be responsible for developing, documenting, and improving processes related to credits and accounts receivable.

JOB DUTIES Review the delinquent status customer accounts, ensuring that all delinquent account holders are contacted through telephone calls, email, or letters via third party. Provide clients with reports detailing collection and collection related activities. Coordinate and manage bi-weekly meetings with management team to review account status. Monitor AR aging to verify all payments have been applied properly. Respond to customer inquiries regarding outstanding balances or copies of invoices. Process customer requested lien releases. Use of third-party software to process liens. Review all new orders to verify customer is within their credit limits Verify all credit references and use third party software to run credit reports on prospective new customers. Develop and document processes related to credits and accounts receivable. Review current processes for areas of improvement and efficiency. Cross Train on A/R processing to serve as back up

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school Minimum of three years credit and/or accounts receivable experience Light collection experience preferred Prior experience developing and improving processes, helpful Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Accounting Software knowledge (MS Great Plains a plus) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Master and navigate difficult conversations Ability to meet strict deadlines

TECHNICAL SKILLS MS Office /Windows experience particularly financial modelling and data management in Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities An understanding of financial statements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients via email and phone
