Role Overview:

The IAA Credit Union Customer Service Associates are responsible for executing a variety of transactional tasks while delivering exceptional service to our members with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist members at the credit union in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring prompt and accurate service for transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances.
  • Handle bulk coin processing, manage safety deposit box access, and sell various products such as money orders and gift cards.
  • Maintain precise cash and check balances, and reconcile foreign currency transactions as necessary.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of credit union products and services to effectively address member inquiries and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Monitor, balance, and report on ATM transactions, and process incoming correspondence as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Accountability to corporate standards and competencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proactive and dependable work ethic.
  • Willingness to work during daytime hours and Saturdays, with potential for overtime.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods at a service counter.
  • Ability to manage substantial amounts of coin (up to approximately 50 pounds).
  • This is an entry-level position that does not necessitate prior experience.
