The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in advocating for clients throughout the pricing process, ensuring that received quotes are not only competitive but also address the appropriate challenges. This position requires close collaboration with the Product Specialist team to create and implement innovative and complex solutions. A successful candidate will manage tight deadlines while maintaining a keen eye for detail and proactively offering solutions when objectives are not being met. The contributions of a Business Analyst significantly influence the final proposal and drive major enterprise decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-sales activities primarily involving RFQs (Requests for Quotes), including soliciting requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and drafting requests to solution partners.
  • Prepare financial analyses and deliverables, comparing and normalizing pricing of various vendor technology solutions across different time models (e.g., Monthly, Annually, Total Contract Value).
  • Utilize pricing and client data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to present analytical findings to Consulting, Product Specialists, and Executive teams.
  • Identify and assess key pricing differentiators that influence decision-making.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the consulting practice regarding all pricing inquiries.
  • Evaluate and summarize the client's existing technology services and invoicing against the company's service portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain deliverable templates to effectively respond to evolving market needs and trends.
  • Create alternative cost models to illustrate pricing strategies as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze large pricing datasets and summarize findings for key stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Experience with contracting and/or RFQs/RFPs.
  • Proficient in Excel/spreadsheets and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for collaborative teamwork and independent project work as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a proven combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in IT or telecommunications is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a workspace and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements

This role can be performed in a hybrid capacity, with the understanding that remote employees may be required to attend in-person meetings and/or events with reasonable notice.
