Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resource Coordinator is responsible a variety of HR administrative duties related to recruitment, onboarding, employee data management and overall functional support.

As an ideal candidate, you will have general knowledge of human resources as well as experience with general administrative duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database, generating reports, archiving documents, and preparing correspondence.
  • Support recruitment efforts through submission & maintenance of online job postings, scheduling job interviews and conducting reference checks for potential hires.
  • Assist in the administration of our performance management program including reporting and communications.
  • Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance, including government reporting.
  • Coordinate and participate in onboarding and training sessions for new employees.
  • Respond to employee requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Help to build and maintain a strong Firm culture by assisting in the planning of and attending volunteer programs and Firm Events.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Required:
  • Associate degree in human resources or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative role.
Preferred:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
