Kearfott Corporation is seeking a high-energy, driven talent acquisition professional. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting in engineering and manufacturing environments, for both exempt and non-exempt positions. In addition to the day-to-day talent acquisition efforts, this person will be involved in strategic initiatives, evaluating recruitment tools, and shaping the campus recruitment program.
Technical Recruiter
Responsibilities:
- Acquire a thorough understanding of job requisition / description for required competencies, skills, knowledge required of successful applicants.
- Work with Hiring Managers to determine best fit candidates, coordinate interviews, and receive timely feedback.
- Identify and implement sourcing strategies based upon the job position by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources.
- Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline using research, networking, database mining, etc. for prospective applicants.
- Use a variety of technical tools to identify and attract a high qualified pool of candidates
- Screen applicants through the use of qualifying interview techniques such as behavioral based interviewing.
- Ensure information is correct and updated regularly in the applicant tracking system.
- Generate recruitment metric reports both manually and using applicant tracking system.
- Provide Hiring Managers with updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity.
- Recommend and implement new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Maintain and assist with compliance of Affirmative Action Plan.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle experience with 2 years in engineering recruiting
- Experience in developing and implementing advanced sourcing strategies
- Experience in recruiting and HR tools such as ATS, people management, and candidate sourcing tools
- Experience with college recruiting.
- Experience with ADPWFN is a plus.
- Knowledge of recruiting and staffing laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available
- Must be a US Citizen or be a US Permanent Residence Card Holder
