About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Tech and Product PMO team based in Mountain View. As a TPM, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end tasks that keep the systems behind TikTok running and working with various team members to deliver best user experiences and highest-standard user privacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery.
  • Transcribe and translate documentation from Mandarin to English.
  • Create and maintain roadmaps for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product leaders.
  • Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner.
  • General project management activities including but not limited to:
    • Prepare project schedules, define milestones.
    • Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, removing blockers.
    • Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or Scrum Master.
    • Ensure products/app release to market smoothly.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or above with 3+ years of project delivery or technical leadership background, plus strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to read and write in Mandarin and English for content translation.
