About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, the Supply Chain Manager will lead the procurement activities at Firestorm for all purchase types, including office supplies, NPI purchases, and controlled inventory. The Supply Chain Manager will process all purchase requests, ensure they are coded correctly, and provide tracking information as needed. As our company grows, it is expected that the Supply Chain Manager will manage the growth of the Supply Chain Team in various aspects related to logistics coordination and shipping/receiving.

On-site: This role is on-site daily in the San Diego, CA office US Citizen is required to obtain Security Clearance About you: You are an experienced supply chain professional who has worked in a similar role within a fast-paced startup You have hands-on experience setting up and training teams on supply/order processes You are committed to quality and have a passion for exceeding expectations You have experience buying parts for controlled inventory You are a team player and a joy to work with You love developing and working within processes You are a self-starter, capable of handling broad aspects of supply chain while the team grows to support additional needs Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting and fulfilling the purchasing needs of internal teams and office employees Responsible for owning the purchasing process across all company purchases and administrating the systems/databases required to track and reconcile purchases Manage and Reconcile Controlled and Uncontrolled physical and electronic inventory Negotiate various terms related to performance, delivery, and cost with 3rd-party vendors Partner with Finance team to set up and maintain blanket POs with select vendors Assist Finance team with asset auditing and tax reporting Plan and Propose solutions for scaling various manufacturing operations and joint projects with 3rd parties Create and monitor Purchase orders through payment Own and manage all shipping and receiving Skills and Experience Required: 2-year college degree (engineering, business, accounting, project management) or equivalent experience Minimum 2 (3+ years preferred) years as a lead purchasing agent or supply chain manager Experience sourcing components used in electro-mechanical products Ability to maintain productive working relationships with suppliers. Bonus Skills / Experience: PMP certification and current status Bachelor's Degree (accounting, business, engineering, project management) Other Requirements: Ability to lift 30 lbs Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance Ability to understand and adhere to local labor laws and firestorm employment policies US Citizen is required
