About the Role
Second Nature is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist who will be responsible for accurately billing and collecting payments from B2B customers on credit terms. Reporting to the AR Manager, the Collections Specialist will have a forward-thinking mindset that leverages industry best practices and adds value by evolving AR processes that will drive invoicing accuracy and collection efficiencies. The compensation package includes a $55K annual salary; unlimited PTO; health benefits that begin day 1; 2 annual company-paid trips; an amazing culture; and more.
Key Job Responsibilities
Ensure accurate monthly billing for all a high volume of assigned accounts
Ensure consistent and effective collection efforts for late receivables
Assist the Sales Department to maintain correct customer card information
Run weekly/monthly/quarterly aging & other AR reports
Assist the AR Manager with general accounting tasks as needed
Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience in B2B Collections
3+ years experience with
ERP system
s (bonus if you’ve used Netsuite)
1+ year experience using
SalesForce
Intermediate to advanced experience user in Excel/Google Sheets/Google Suite
Proven success meeting performance KPIs
Ability to solve practical problems & use critical thinking
Ability to work in a self-directed environment
Ability to maintain client confidentiality
Unquestioned personal integrity and work ethic
Eagerness to learn and grow with Second Nature
