Job Summary:
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing outstanding support to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, or in person in a professional and timely manner.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Provide product and service information to customers.
- Identify and troubleshoot customer issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex problems.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company's database.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage loyalty.
- Gather feedback to improve customer experience and report insights to the management team.
- Prepare reports summarizing customer interactions and trends.
- Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and empathetic demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
