Job Summary:
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing outstanding support to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, or in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate them to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Provide product and service information to customers.
Problem Resolution:
  • Identify and troubleshoot customer issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution.
Order Management:
  • Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company's database.
Customer Engagement:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage loyalty.
  • Gather feedback to improve customer experience and report insights to the management team.
Administrative Support:
  • Prepare reports summarizing customer interactions and trends.
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
