Driving What’s Right

. What will you do? Respond to indirect tax queries from the business. Advise multiple business areas on sales tax implications for Federal and Provincial legislative obligations. Includes integrating business processes for any changes in legislation or process improvements/new business initiatives. Work with accounts payable as well as treasury to ensure seamless payments and bank funding for monthly/quarterly tax payments. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of various reporting systems relating to the business to ensure tax requirements are met. Research and interpret Provincial and Federal sales tax legislation and stay abreast with legislative budgetary changes that impact the organizational structure and customer product deliverables. Assist with responses to tax audit queries for sales tax. Including correspondence with external tax resources. Perform various analytical tasks and special projects as assigned. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field Enrollment in or completion of the CPA program is considered an asset Completion of the CPA In-Depth GST/HST course is considered an asset 2-4 years’ relevant experience in indirect tax Experience in tax compliance advisory Experience in liaising with multiple business partners in a large multi-national private or public organizational setting Proactive, organized approach to multitasking and prioritization Strong interpersonal and customer service skills #LI-HYBRID #LI-MS At Holman, we exist to pro
