Business Development Representative

With deep domain expertise in regulatory sciences, clinical research solutions, quality & compliance, pharmacovigilance, medical information, and R&D technology, ProPharma offers an end-to-end suite of fully customizable consulting solutions that de-risk and accelerate our partners' most high-profile drug and device programs.The Business Development Representative position is responsible for generating leads and setting appointments for the Business Development team and assisting with proposal and coordination.Essential Functions: Prospect, qualify and generate sales through cold calling.Contact potential clients through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and seminars to set appointments for the Business Development team.Manage, track, and follow up on leads.Collaborate with marketing and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, and campaigns.Responsible for proposals coordination, including some proposal generation and proposal submittals.Read, prepare, and analyze data for development / status of reports. Necessary Skills and Abilities:Persuasive selling abilities.Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet and MS Office tools.Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong desktop publishing abilities.Possess the soft skills needed to negotiate with others when in difficult situations.Other duties as assigned.Educational Requirements: Associates degree or higher in a business or scientific discipline (Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field).Experience Requirements: Minimum one year at current position.Positive rating on Performance Appraisal by supervisor or manager.Proficiency in the established requirements for the next position.We celebrate our differences and strive to create a workplace where each person can be their authentic self.
