Your responsibilities will include the management of the VFS Brazil credit portfolio including middle, small and owner operator fleet segments, and the non-legal collection (1-60 days) of all segments, including large fleet customers. The position is also responsible for the new Rental company portfolio, the management of the local Decision Engine, including strategy coding, and development of analytics. The position is responsible for Portfolio Management activities, including the production of reports, specific studies, and management of the governance process, including the portfolio management meetings. The position is also responsible to supervise solution developments, including the development of score models and other analytically designed credit and collection strategies. Who are you? First of all, you must enjoy teamworking, you should be an active contributor for an inclusive working environment, and you are good developing people. Interpersonal skills are fundamental. As experience and professional background, we expect you to have a Master`s degree in business, mathematics, business, engineering, or equivalent, an MBA is desirable. More than 10 years in management experience in banks or financial services business, in risk function with direct responsibility for credit and collection activities. You should have a proven track record and success in leading teams and achieving measurable objectives and must have broad exposure to credit, collection, and change management, including project management. Strong experience working in an international and multicultural environment will be very valuable. You are expected to demonstrate advanced understanding of complex business processes across the financial services business, including knowledge of the Central Bank regulation. And you should have comprehension of how to leverage digital solutions & platforms to access data and deliver enhanced decisions through analytics. Your competences and skills Good networking skills to align and collaborate with commercial and internal areas. Capacity to leverage on analytical solutions (score models, machine learning, decision trees, and AI), including development, implementation, monitoring and validation. Strong analytical skills, as well as holistic thinking, and capacity to deal with complex problems. You should be fluent in English, and Spanish is a plus. Credit Risk and Operational risk management knowledge is necessary. You have to have strong leadership skills, a high level of out-of-box thinking and be a team player with the demonstrated ability to influence at executive level and involve others. You should be able to demonstrate managerial effectiveness and efficiency and a strong desire to succeed, with excellent presentation & communication skills.
