Medley Salary:

Key Responsibilities: Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, liaising with vendors to prevent payment delays and take advantage of early payment discounts Produce monthly and ad hoc reports from the ERP system (RNI, Aging, Outstanding Checks, etc.) Handle 1099s Assist with month-end closing by completing and recording journal entries in the ERP system Provide supporting documentation for audits, ensuring accuracy before submission Prepare account analyses, backup support documents, and monthly reports Maintain vendor files and storage filing systems Review check requests and vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness Input payables information, generate vendor payments, maintain vendor files, and generate checks, ensuring policy compliance Assist in periodic account reconciliation Process petty cash requests Maintain schedules and files as assigned by the supervisor Reconcile Accounts Payable subsidiary ledger to the General Ledger and resolve variances Audit credit card payments, aged payables, stale dated checks, and exception reports Manage wire and ACH payment processes and provide backup for weekly check runs Ensure internal department documentation for policies and procedures is up-to-date Assist in developing and implementing new processes and procedures to enhance workflow

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERP systems, Sage300 preferred (Macola or others accepted) Intermediate Excel skills, proficiency in Outlook Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3-5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience Experience in distribution or manufacturing companies
