Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role within the Financial team, managing essential accounting operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

This position involves maintaining precise financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting the overall fiscal health of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:

Generate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


Budget Management:

Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations to management.


Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.


General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets, to ensure accurate financial reporting.


Audit Coordination:

Support annual audits by collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and schedules.


Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about accounting regulations and ensure the organization adheres to accounting standards and internal policies.


Process Enhancement:

Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Public accounting experience or CPA certification is highly desirable.


Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
