Client Details A leading player in the glass packaging manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for a diverse range of clients. With a commitment to sustainability and excellence, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in driving new business development, particularly with distributors / wholesaler partnerships. Description New Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for acquiring new business, with a focus on expanding the company's reach in the wholesale sector. Identify and pursue opportunities to increase market share and revenue through strategic partnerships and innovative sales approaches. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals. Set clear targets and KPIs, regularly monitoring and evaluating team performance. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and wholesalers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations. Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine sales strategies that align with overall business objectives. Provide input on product development based on market feedback and industry trends. Contribute to the development of pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Implement robust sales forecasting processes to provide accurate and timely information for business planning. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics for presentation to the executive team. Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the glass packaging or related manufacturing industry. Experience within cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Strong understanding of wholesale distribution channels and experience in developing partnerships with wholesalers. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
