Role Overview:
The Retail Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in the overall success and efficiency of the store, requiring focused attention to our brand values while serving customers and driving results.

This position is responsible for maintaining Coach's Service and Selling Models, ensuring a positive first impression, fostering ongoing customer relationships through personalized experiences, and leaving a lasting positive impact.


Sales Responsibilities:
• Understands organizational goals and aligns decisions with company priorities.
• Takes ownership and is dedicated to achieving results while being aware of personal and store metrics; collaborates with management to develop personal sales and clienteling strategies.
• Creates both short- and long-term strategies to meet personal performance goals.
• Takes responsibility for personal survey results and formulates plans for improvement.
• Acts as a brand ambassador for Coach.
• Consistently demonstrates Coach's Selling and Service expectations.
• Recognizes local market changes that may affect business performance and supports local sales strategies.
• Drives business through effective sales strategies, clienteling, and maintaining productive customer relationships.
• Creates positive customer experiences by presenting oneself in alignment with Coach's Guide to Style.
• Builds credibility as a personal fashion advisor by showcasing fashion knowledge and understanding of competitors.
• Provides comprehensive product knowledge, including features, benefits, and overall value.
• Clearly communicates current pricing and promotional strategies to customers.
• Engages in cross-selling and encourages beneficial product add-ons tailored to customer needs.
• Sensitive to customer cues and adapts approach accordingly.
• Attends to individual shopping needs and manages multiple customers effectively.
• Follows up with customers consistently to influence and close sales.
• Adjusts personal selling techniques to enhance overall store performance.
• Fosters a collaborative team environment and promotes a shared vision.
• Remains adaptable to changing business needs and welcomes constructive feedback.
• Maintains professionalism and composure at all times.

Operational Responsibilities:
• Ensures daily tasks are completed without compromising service or Coach standards.
• Completes operational tasks, including maintaining store appearance and visual merchandising.
• Upholds cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
• Adheres to retail policies and procedures, including POS and Asset Protection protocols.
• Assists with inventory management and cash-wrap operations as needed.

Additional Requirements:
• Experience: 1-3 years in sales, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks at a fast pace, including lifting and moving products.

Schedule:
• Flexibility to meet scheduling expectations, including nights and weekends during peak retail periods.
