Position Overview:

We are hiring an Outside Sales Manager based out of Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Outside Sales Account Manager reports to the CEO. Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals, as well as acquiring new customers through means of telephone calls, E-Mail, and by attending trade shows and meetings. This position involves providing the customer with excellent customer service, providing thorough information on products, and assessing the customer’s needs and matching them with relevant products and services. This is a remote position. However, requires traveling to meet with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Meets monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
  • Acquires new customers through means of client meetings, telephone calls, E-Mail, and trade shows
  • Searches for new opportunities to open new business accounts
  • Travels to assigned regions to meet with customers
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Takes initiative to improve relations with customers
  • Attends trade shows
  • Takes appointments based on weekly routes
  • Resolves discrepanciesand settles complaints
  • Works with the Directors to plan the yearly sales goals
  • Provides updates on customer feedback
  • Collaborates with Inside Sales and other departments to ensure customer orders and shipments meet deadlines
  • Follows up with customers regarding any and all issues including resolving discrepancies and complaints
  • Prepare and present presentations with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Participates in brand promotions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience in account management and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong organization and customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • General background in account management and sales
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to travel (55% or more)
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience in CPG, production and distribution, preferred
  • Proficiency or prior experience using SAP Business One ERP software
  • General knowledge of marketing functions
Pay
  • Salary plus commission
