Job Description

Collegiate Hotel Group®, is seeking a eCommerce Manager to join our team to support property marketing for our collection of hotels.

POSITION PURPOSE

The eCommerce Manager is responsible for leading and implementing the digital strategy for our portfolio of properties, ensuring the commercial success of our online platforms. This role involves collaboration with marketing, design, and property teams, as well as managing relationships with external digital partners. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and possess a deep understanding of the digital landscape to drive online growth and enhance the user experience.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and manage web content experiences, including pages, banners, and multimedia in collaboration with marketing and design teams.
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of web content collection, implementation, and editorial schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead eCommerce activities across the portfolio, including website refreshes, updates, and the rollout of new technologies.
  • Liaise with external digital agencies, development partners, and property teams to implement revenue-impacting strategies and optimize digital experiences.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive website and media strategy reporting packages, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, CRS, and BI Tools.
  • Monitor and generate website traffic reports, assess SEO performance, and implement strategies to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Manage and execute A/B testing initiatives, evaluate digital marketing ROI, and provide strategic insights to drive online performance.
  • Support the development and monitoring of eCommerce budgets, and manage relationships with third-party partners, booking engines, and listing directories.
  • Train and support teams on regular website content audits, and ensure timely updates to web content, including promotions, offers, and media channels.
  • Support other marketing functions across all facets of the business to impact positive performance.
  • Collaborate with F B teams to develop digital strategies that drive outlet awareness and revenues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or related fields.
  • Previous experience with CMS management (WordPress preferred) and a proven track record of working with external partners.
  • Strong understanding of web metrics, reporting tools (Google Analytics preferred), and SEO strategies.
  • Experience in high transaction environments and a solid grasp of the digital landscape.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
