- Work directly with the facility pharmacist-in-charge to maintain compliance standards that align with board of pharmacy regulations and company policies.
- Uphold a culture focused on exceptional customer experience for both veterinary partners and Chewy pharmacy customers.
- Accountable for all performance metrics of the front-end pharmacy, including safety, compliance, people, quality, and cost.
- Leverage customer feedback to develop system and process enhancements needed to improve delivery experience.
- Successful delivery of projects from ideation to execution in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Support a problem-solving culture that engages all levels in defect identification and solution implementation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
- Manage budget and control expenses.
- Develop and recognize staff effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a pharmacy, healthcare, or ecommerce environment.
- Pharmacy experience strongly desired.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
- Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
- Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
