Chewy is seeking an Associate Director Pharmacy Compliance in Louisville, KY to join our Legal, Risk and Corporate Responsibility Team. This position is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a fast-paced dynamic team supporting regulatory compliance issues in connection with veterinary pharmacy and wholesale business operations. This position will report to the Associate Director, Healthcare Compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Lead collaboration with the pharmacy and wholesale operations teams to draft and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Facilitate, coordinate, and conduct assessments and audits to identify areas of risk in the pharmacy and wholesale operations and assist with improvement plans to ensure successful regulatory and accrediting agency inspections.

Oversee and document external regulatory inquiries and investigations related to pharmacy and wholesale services.

Work with Human Resources and legal counsel to assist with investigating suspected employee misconduct related to the provision of pharmacy and wholesale services.

Attend state board of pharmacy and other government meetings.

Build professional relationships on behalf of Chewy pharmacy and wholesale facilities.

What You’ll Need:

10+ years progressively responsible experience within pharmacy and/or wholesale operations

Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Maintain current unrestricted pharmacist licensure within the state

Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new areas of the pharmacy and wholesale business

Attend local board of pharmacy and other government meetings.

Build professional relationships on behalf of Chewy healthcare facilities.
