Compensation:

Work Schedule:

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST, with onsite presence required as necessary.

Training Schedule:

Initial training will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals and patients with daily operations, including data entry and communication.
  • Clarify and process physician orders for patient prescriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations during data entry of prescription information.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Calculate and verify medication dosages based on prescriptions.
  • Manage incoming calls from patients and providers, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Familiarize with and adhere to specific program guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician and registered in the state of Kentucky.
  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possession of KY PTCB Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmacy data entry.
  • Basic algebra skills.
  • Client-facing experience, particularly over the phone.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
