As a Senior Specialist, you will collaborate with business units, Textron Enterprise Schools, Talent Analytics, and Textrons DIB Committee to design and execute a comprehensive school engagement, recruiting strategy, and internship program that enhances brand awareness and helps achieve our talent objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a university recruiting digital sourcing strategy, ensuring usage of the platform, and monitoring ROI.
  • In collaboration with the University Relations Manager and Diversity Inclusion Belonging (DIB) Committee, develop and implement an enterprise University Relations diversity recruiting strategy determine HBCU partnerships, cohorts, and other applicable diversity events to support our internship and entry-level talent pipelines.
  • Liasing with assigned external stakeholders and partners to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience:
  • Lead on-campus teams and function as the operations lead for assigned Textron Enterprise Universities, includes HBCU Partners.
  • Lead National Diversity Conference recruiting workstream, ensure proper staffing, branding, trainings, etc. leading up to enterprise events.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with business units, councils, and Enterprise Team champions.
  • Create and manage an Enterprise representative pipeline for assigned schools and national diversity conferences.
  • Tracking recruiting metrics to assess the return on investment from selected schools and conferences and ensuring a data driven approach to enhance future event strategies.
  • Drive conversion of US interns through oversight of US Enterprise Internship Program
  • Ensure administration of key processes including but not limited to include intern debit card process, communications, national intern day, matching, intern offers, etc.
  • Partner with Talent Analytics on automation opportunities, enterprise metrics, and self-service tools for business unit teams.
  • Partner with University Relations Manager to enhance Textron UR Brand through external vendor partnerships, asset management including digital and on campus inventory, and the Student Ambassador Program.
  • Benchmark against other companies to remain competitive and attract top talent in the recruiting space.
  • Remains current on D&I trends, best practices and program development and introduce approaches in alignment with the strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.
  • Additional talent acquisition projects as assigned.
  • Mentor and develop UR Associates through the assignment of projects. Play an active role in onboarding and training University Relations team members.
  • Handle additional duties, special projects, and future career development opportunities as assigned.
  • Travel approximately 25%, with heavier travel during September and October.
  • Safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of employee personnel records, including personal and compensation information.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in University Relations, DEI Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or other relevant experience.

  • Strong research and analytical skills; ability to present findings to management.

  • Possess strong planning skills effectively identify and resolve complex problems.
