Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-and post-award and financial services to the Department of Neuroscience, ensuring compliance with federal and nonfederal guidelines.
- Prepare and review grant proposals, budgets, and awards, utilizing COEUS grant management tool and sponsor submission tools.
- Coordinate the submission of new and continuing grant proposals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Post-award management of grants/contracts, providing guidance on sponsored project issues, budget management, and expenditure review.
- Reconcile accounts, audit accounts, and create monthly analytical reports for Principal Investigators.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Health, Science, Engineering, or Math field.
- 1-2 years of experience working with grants (pre and/or post award) and finances.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web-based programs, and tools.
- Excellent math skills, good customer service skills, and effective communication skills.
