Overview The Human Resource Business Partner (Manager) e nsures an optimal management of HR processes with a focus on people and culture. The HRBP has in-depth knowledge of local talent and provides coaching to managers to help them accelerate talent readiness. Contributes HR point of view into business issues and supports diagnostic interventions to deliver solutions. Collaborates on a regular basis with HR COEs on design and execution of solutions and service delivery to employees. Implements strategic initiatives and other enterprise-wide initiatives and HR programs, including compensation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with plant leadership to define organizations goals. Understand business drivers and how organizational strategy relates to human capital strategy. Build HR Business plan for the site including methods, metrics and objectives to support the organizational strategy.

Influence and coach people leaders and teams, using data, trends and perspectives to drive alignment, ownership and improve decision making and actions needed to move the business, people strategies or personal performance forward. Enhance leadership effectiveness through the development of key behaviors that support Ajinomoto Foods core values.

Lead the Ajinomoto Foods employee experience throughout the employee life cycle utilizing Employee Experience survey and action plans, Voice of the Employee program, Stay Interviews, and Rewards and Recognition platforms.

Design and develop plant talent acquisition strategy including employee value proposition for the site, to attract and retain talent. Support full cycle recruiting, including applicant sourcing, recruiting, pre-employment screening, interviewing and employee onboarding, participating in outreach events, building, and maintaining effective relationships with schools and community-based organizations.

Build and strengthen our internal talent pipeline through proactive developmental experiences, succession planning, frontline leader development, skills training, etc.

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective and thorough i nvestigations in a timely manner, providing root cause, recommendations, and measures for gap closure.

Bring the Ajinomoto Foods culture to life in all aspects of our business through strategic leader-lead programs. Foster a sense of belong through the people platform of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Leverage appropriate internal systems (iCims, Ultipro, Kazoo, Hireright, etc.) to optimize our people processes increasing HR team efficiency to better support our leaders and employees. Accelerate people information to empower employees and drive business in today's digital global landscape.

Embody a change leader mindset, coaching others in change management.

Work closely with internal counterparts for successful planning and delivery of HR programs and services to the business.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management or a related field AND 5 plus years of progressive HR experience OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Three years of demonstrated collaboration with senior plant leadership

Strong leadership and influencing skills to lead change management initiatives

The ability to work both tactically and strategically.

Willingness to learn, grow and tackle expanded duties as business needs evolve.

Proven ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment.

Attention to detail and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.

Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills

Skilled in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Able to effectively work in a matrix structure.
