Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Analyst to support our Sales and Operations teams in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. The successful candidate is a self-starter professional who is passionate about finding actionable insights and sharing recommendations. They will play a pivotal role in analyzing internal and syndicated data, will support daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting, and will support the Retail and Operations team with the management of retail accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize internal and syndicated data sources to analyze sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize sales strategies for Bubble Skincare's product lines.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders, contributing to Bubble Skincare's growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights and recommendations that support operational efficiency and effectiveness in a dynamic, indie brand environment.
  • Conduct ad hoc data pulls and analyzes to address specific inquiries from Sales and Operations teams, providing timely and accurate information to inform decision-making and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Drive the development and automation of data processes, reports, and dashboards to streamline reporting and improve data accessibility, supporting Bubble Skincare's commitment to innovation and excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within Sales and Operations functions through data analysis and modeling, contributing to Bubble Skincare's competitive edge in the skincare market..
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating the business impact of data-driven insights and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making at Bubble skincare.
  • Assist retail account leaders with operational tasks that support key accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience working with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, GfK) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Retail Link and/or Luminate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, indie brand environment.
