JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing strong leadership, direction, and administration of operations to ensure that organizational strategic and operational goals are achieved. Will monitor facility and program objectives to ensure all quality initiatives are met. Will work collaboratively to ensure the organization is offering cost effective services and an appropriate mix of funding/payor sources. Support and guide leaders by sharing industry best practices. Oversee and coordinate grants and community relationships. Provide additional oversight and leadership to departments as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Organizational Responsibilities: Develop short and long-term plans collaboratively with members of the Executive Team. Assure timely completion of organizational planning and programming initiatives. Provide oversight for facility and program operations to ensure budgetary and program service delivery objectives are met. Provide oversight, leadership and support to direct reports and other services and departments as assigned. Ensure organizational compliance with stated licensure requirements and disseminate regulatory information to Executive Team. Work collaboratively to establish and submit the annual budgets for facilities and programs with the CEO and the Director of Finance. Responsible for approving expenditure requests with signatory authority. Will serve as the primary informatics liaison for multiple electronic information exchange platforms, including electronic health record, health information exchange, etc. Will monitor and seek out grant funding opportunities aligning with the organizational mission. Ensure facility/program teams collaborate with Quality Department to maintain compliance with regulatory and CARF requirements. Provide direction on matters relating to policy review and interpretation. Maintain efficient admissions and insurance billing processing, meeting deadlines and funding criteria as required. Develop and oversee local Advisory Boards at each location and ensure quarterly meetings are held. Develop and cultivate relationships with community supporters, legislative personnel, insurance referral sources, and judicial system representatives. Assure completion of quarterly and annual reports as required by governmental granting agencies, referral sources or as requested. Exemplify Rimrock’s culture and core values to contribute to a positive working environment for all team members. Partner with the Human Resource Department to ensure that all staffing, training, development, compliance, corrective action and licensure requirements are being met in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Actively participate in Executive team meetings and the monthly board meeting. Assure adherence to state of Montana administrative rules and statutes, CARF standards, CCBHC guidelines and any federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively Provide presentations to community groups as requested. Monitor progress of clients throughout their treatment. 20. Monitor Rimrock programs for efficiency and effectiveness. 21. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, IT, safety, finance, compliance, and process improvement. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise. Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required. A typical workday involves sitting, frequent use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing, approximately 70% of the time. Approximately 30% or less of the time is spent standing. Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Involves everyday risk or discomfort requiring normal safety precautions in an office setting, meeting room and patient care areas. Work may involve mental and emotional stress. Some driving required. Will work primarily in main facility.
