Key Responsibilities- Oversee all pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities
- Recommend innovations in pharmacy practice and function to hospital administration
- Carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team
- Assist with the security of pharmacies and controlled substances
- Recruit and hire pharmacy staff
- Ensure all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements are met
- Provide optimal services and enhance financial performance
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Montana Pharmacist license in good standing
- 3+ years of recent Pharmacy Director experience in a complex health system
- At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting
- Leadership, administrative, human resource, and managerial skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics
- Problem solving and analytical thinking ability
