Job Description

Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Manager, the Plant HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function withing our manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, Ohio. This role will serve as a consultant to all stakeholders and ensure HR practices, policies and tools are aligned and implemented at the facility. This includes onboarding, performance and talent management, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, safety and wellness, and supporting talent and diversity initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational and strategic HR practices to enable a best-in-class employee experience
  • Ensure the effective and timely execution of all HR processes and programs; including but not limited to talent reviews, performance management and counseling, compensation planning, employee relations, etc.
  • Assist with design, coordination, and implementation of employee and/or manager training and coaching
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design and high impact talent development efforts
  • Lead engagement activities to focus on organizational culture and retention
  • Support organization diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Champion our Safety Culture through meeting participation and supporting safety initiatives and concerns.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 or more years of experience in human resources or related work experience.
  • Possesses a strong drive for results and translates strategic direction into concrete action steps
  • Positive and friendly attitude in working with all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrates project management skills; able to communicate status updates with colleagues, keep team members informed, and respond clearly to inquiries
  • Independent and organized work style: Effectively manages time and prioritizes workload, assumes and manages multiple tasks without close supervision and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and employee information.
  • Strong written/verbal and nonverbal communication skills; demonstrates good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, and Excel).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment a plus
Additional Information
  • You will work in a team-oriented office and manufacturing environment.
  • Travel will be required (up to 20%)
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • PPE required: Steel toe shoes and eye protection are required in manufacturing and lab areas.
